We decided we had better gather everyone in our yard to have a prayer before the big race and then discuss the rules of the race.
All racers are now lined up, and are off running.
If you look closely in this video, Emily is throwing a bucket of water on dad. There was a big dispute as to who's idea it was. Nobody (Quincy or Emily) wanted to take reponsibility for it. :)
We had over 50 neighbors in our front yard enjoying a great potluck dinner.

I really appreciated the Shelby's help in hosting this event and all of the wonderful food and support that people shared with the group. It was a great success.
Larry J. took first place in the race and also the best decoration. I wonder if any one noticed it was deer horns on his lawn mower and not cow horns. (LOL)
